Night of the Tiger

A dive into the depths of a terrible era, during the darkest political history of Argentina.

INSPIRED BY A TRUE STORY

Claudio Hofmann

2012, Cuba.

Claudio Hofmann, a suave, rich, reputable, German-Suisse businessman, lives in a mansion, in the once privileged zone of Havana's El Laguito. His wife, Celeste, a much younger, beautiful French woman, runs a charitable foundation funded by her husband and enjoys the favors of the diplomatic corps in the island.

At least that's the official version.

Jonathan, a well known British war photographer believes Herr Hofmann is in fact an Argentinian former torturer from the dark period of the 70's military dictatorship, guilty of terrible crimes, including HIS PARENTS torture and murder, when he was just a boy.

NOW, He has come to Havana to unmask the murderer and take his revenge.

Locations

The film will be shot entirely in Cuba. Mostly with British actors, plus some French and local talent. Set in the former diplomatic quarter, and Old Havana areas of the city, the film offers an opportunity to exploit Havana's beautiful but decaying colonial architecture, including tobacco tycoon, Marc Pollack's Mansion, built in 1930.
