1924. Gaston Deveaux, the new Governor General of French Congo arrives in Brazzaville.

His mission: clear the name of France after reported atrocities committed in her name, and the 25,000 native lives sacrificed during the ongoing construction of the Congo Ocean Railroad.

The new Governor is committed to succeeding, but no one told him that to achieve his mission, he would have to

sacrifice the life of Goma, his native childhood friend...
